ABOUT
Essential Pay is a social enterprise that serves the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Community who are participating in the Self Determination Program by providing Bill Payer Financial Management Services. Our company was founded by a disability service provider with over 30 years of experience in managing personal supports, data-driven technological innovations, and disability advocacy.

Flexible Disability Support
We provide bill payer services for people participating in California's Department of Developmental Services’ (DDS) Self Determination Program (SDP). Through disability funding, we help SDP participants manage their personal budgets so they can buy supports, services, and things they want and need for a fulfilling life the way they want to in their homes and communities

What we provide
Essential Pay provides Fiscal Management Services (FMS) under the Bill Payer or Fiscal Agent model.
We are an independent vendor who works with Regional Centers to provide bill payer services for people participating in the Self-Determination Program.

What we deliver
As a Bill Payer FMS, we will:

Pay the bills for your services, activities, and items

Provide a monthly accounting statement of how you are spending your individual budget to make sure you have enough left throughout the year

Pay your designated vendors directly so you don’t have to worry about the invoices
